NACHTSCHICHT

The works of Ádám Hollós (born 1984 in Budapest) are very much based on the reality of everyday life. He interprets scenes of urban life, analyzes them, breaks them down into different components and reconstructs them according to his own methodology and in a completely different quality. Hollós asks questions that challenge the viewer as well as society itself.
In his latest works, a sense of discomfort pervades the images. When the viewer encounters the painted scene, instinctive responses are triggered that provoke a series of personal memories, thoughts and ideas.
